Political and administrative capital of Morocco, Rabat which literally means " to attach horses" was originally smaller than its rival, Salé city. To cross the river which separated both cities, visitors left their frames here. Become since then the 2nd biggest town of the country after Casablanca, the city does not stop developing. It has a small medina, considered essentially as its mellah (ancient Jewish district), its Es-Sebat covered souk and its famous Kasbah des Oudayas. Modern and cosmopolitan city, Rabat takes advantage of its exposition in front of the Atlantic Ocean to offer to its visitors an idyllic holiday setting by its numerous sport infrastructures and its golf which make it appear to the pretenders for the organization of the Olympics of 2020.
